About

I am a Graduate Electrical Engineering student with a strong interest in the Audio Industry. Through both my coursework and personal interest in music technology, I have hands on experience working with and designing all types of music hardware and software. I will graduate with my M.Eng in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville in July 2012 and am actively seeking a great job to grow my skills as an engineer.

Hardware Experience

  • Digital: Motorola 68HC11, PIC and Arduino microcontrollers, Xilinx Spartan 3E FPGA
  • Analog: Active Network Design for Audio Amplifiers and Crossovers, Power Supply Design, Plasma Speaker,  Spice Simulation
  • IC:  Hands on experience with MEMS fabrication processes, Fabricated a piezoresistive pressure sensor,  Basic knowledge of L-Edit.
Software
  • Programming: Strong background in C, Assembly for Motorola 68HC11, LabVIEW, MATLAB, Pure Data.  Basic Experience in Python, VHDL,  Java, Objective C, and HTML
  • Applications: Avid Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Final Cut, Photoshop/GIMP
  • OS: Windows, Mac, Linux

Audio Recording

  • The Palma Project-live album, latin jazz/fusion band, editing, mixing and mastering.
  • Edgehill Avenue-6 song demo, full rock band with keys, 2 guitars, bass, drums, lead and harmony vocals
  • Tarnation!-two disc live recording with electric guitar, two acoustics, mandolin, bass, djembe
  • Staging the Area-3 song demo, rock band with 2 guitars, vocals and drums
  • Cascade Hollow-3 song demo, acoustic band with drums, sax, guitar, upright bass, lead and harmony vocals
  • Marvin Whitacre-8 song rock demo, electric guitar and vocals

Live Sound

  • Sound Engineer for WorldFest 2011-Fiesta Latina stage, 3 day, multi-act concert and culture festival in downtown Louisville, KY.
  • Crossing the Americas, two band Latin music concert, FOH sound as well as location recording and mixing for two live albums.

Video 

  • 1st place Apple UofL WeRock Movie Competition- Final Countdown-Music scoring, Screenwritting, Audio/Video Editing
  • Writing music, editing audio and recording voice-overs for University of Louisville Admissions office promo videos
  • Audio editing and post production touch ups for student portfolio videos
