My recording services are great for:

Quality: While I cannot promise the sound quality of pro studios, I can provide great sounding, clear recordings for bands that are just starting out. Perfect for small run Albums, EPs and online demos.

Rates:

I offer many different recording rates to deal with the varied types of projects that exist.  If you have any questions or a project that is unusual and does not fit these categories, feel free to contact me by email in order to get a quote for your project.  All projects include a master in standard .WAV format for distribution.  I also provide all the session recordings and files in industry standard Pro Tools format or .wav file stems, which can be taken to any studio for further mixing or idea development.

Singer/Songwriter Demos: $15 an hour

  • Recording done with one artist in my home studio
  • Songs can take 30 min for quick demos, up to around 4 or  more hours for long songs with lots of added instrumentation
  • Includes full use of all my producing, instruments, equipment and playing if needed
  • Hourly rate includes setup, tracking, mixing and mastering times
  • All fees to be paid at the end of each session

Full Band Recording: $20 an hour

  • Best suited for a small run EP or online distribution needing a polished “album” sound
  • Recording a full band of any size at your practice location
  • Tracks can be built up from the base elements and overdubs added as needed
  • Hourly rate applies to hours spent during setup and tracking, editing, mixing and mastering will be done separately and not charged extra for
  • Songs should take 2 to 4 hours to track, possibly longer if lots of parts, effects and arranging must be worked out
  • All fees to be paid at the end of each session (min 3 hours per session)

Full Band Demos: $40 a Song

  • Best suited for a online demo for fans or to allow club booking agents to hear how you sound
  • “Live” style recording at your practice location, main instruments tracked all at once
  • Minimal overdubs of vocals and solos are done after the fact
  • One and a half hour limit on tracking time per song, mixing and mastering will be done separately and not charged extra for
  • All fees to be paid at the end of each session (min 2 songs per session)

Live recording: $200

  • On location recording of your solo or band performance
  • Multitrack recording for maximum quality and mixing flexibility
  • Includes editing, mixing and mastering (no overdubs)
  • $125 must be paid up front before the recording, $75 when the final masters are delivered
